We had another amazing Wee Crafty Folk fayre in Bishop Bevan Hall, Brecon again this weekend.
The weather was stunning: wall-to-wall sunshine, which sadly meant that visitor numbers were down as everyone rushed for the beach, but the visitors that did come were all impressed with what was on offer - and what an amazing choice of crafts we had this month:
Steam punk, faery, driftwood and glass; Christian gifts; Jewellery, signs, gadget covers; Pyrography artwork; Fabric bags and home decor; Polymer clay stationery, home decor & jewellery; Cakes; Acupressure massage, zumba, tarot; Woodturning, clocks, compasses; Jams & chutneys; Jewellery & craft supplies, magazines, lifetime journals; Jewellery - fimo & steam punk; Hampers, chutneys, ketchup & honey - all home grown and hand made; Carpet style bags, ori bags, clutches, jewellery; Chainmail; Beading supplies; Bags; home decor, fabric clocks; Crafting supplies: beads, buttons, jewellery findings, jewellery; collectable action figures.
Add to all these wonderful crafts our activity table which found children happily getting stuck in with alphabet letters, flowers, bracelet cottons, jars, glitter and sequins to make their own crafts to take away. Some of the crafters were also doing demonstrations of their crafts and getting people involved in trying out the techniques for themselves.
Professor Edson Gearforth-Blaque's Steam Galley tea shop was doing a roaring trade as usual, serving up hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and naughty treats along with his own unique brand of steam punk oration and wicked sense of humour!
Last, but certainly not least - we welcomed our furry friends - many dogs popped in for a visit (accompanied by their well behaved owners on leads) to enjoy a refreshing bowl of cool water and the odd biscuit treat dispensed by one of the many dog-mad crafters in our midst. We often have our own resident dogs, but this month they had all decided to stay home and sunbathe in the garden - who can blame them?

Of course, the stars of the show are the crafters themselves and, here at Wee Crafty Folk, we work really hard to ensure that the crafters are well looked after, included in everything that's going on and that the atmosphere is really friendly and non-competitive with everyone supporting each other, making new friends and swapping stories, techniques and supplies.
Thanks to all our crafters who turned up and made the weekend such a lovely time!
We are blessed that sometimes they have had such a great time, they even make us a little thank-you note :-)
We can't wait to see you all again next month - 14th & 15th June.
